Stronger for Longer Golf

Do you want to hit the golf ball further? 

Our Golf class has stopped for the summer golf season and will resume in the autumn.  You could do one of our general Stronger for Longer classes.

 

We started a Stronger for Longer Golf class in 2020 after we had a lot of golfers who attended our other classes comment that they were hitting the ball further since they started doing weights in our classes.  Linda (our resident golfer) noticed that she was too.  So we started a new class for them!  We run this class from late October to springtime.

This exercise class is specifically for golfers and the aim is to strengthen the muscles that you use to get power in your golf swing.  This includes the abdominal oblique muscles, shoulders, elbows, wrists and hips.  We also work on balance and flexibility (especially the upper back region).  

Classes are run via Zoom (we have limited space to attend in person in Ashbourne) and are on Fridays at 12.00 noon.  You will need a mat, cushion or yoga block, stretchy band (we can supply this – €5) and a short golf club.  We will let you know if you need anything else.

There are eight classes in the set and it costs €120 (Zoom) or €140 (clinic).  If you want to do more classes in the same calendar week, it is only €5 each for the extra classes.  Note that this doesn’t have to be a golf class. 

If you wish to cancel your Stronger for Longer Golf class, you can do it at a later date provided that you have given us about three hours’ notice.  Please note that there is a charge for late cancellations and no shows.
